Services
Individual Therapy
Individual therapy is a safe space to explore how relationship histories, as well as past experiences impact choices, current behaviors, and relationships. Depression, anxiety, past trauma, and other life adjustments are discussed and explored.
Couples Therapy
Couples therapy is a neutral/safe space for both partners to be able to express their feelings and receive validation for emotions, efforts, etc. Formative relationships, as well as past experiences are often discussed. Improving communication and learning conflict resolution are learned. Changes in relationship statuses such as engagement, marriage, parenting/co-parenting, and amicable relationship dissolution are topics commonly worked on. Each member of the couple may be seen individually, as well, to help with the couples-work.
Family Therapy
Meeting with the family, as well as specific subgroups of family members, is helpful to understand familial dynamics contributing to problems amongst the family group. Families address concerns regarding conflicts amongst parents and/or siblings, children's behavioral issues, and major life changes such as re-marriage, separation/divorce, or death of a family member.
Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy (PAP) Integration
Integration sessions help process insights of ketamine/psychedelic experiences that have already occurred, in which clients revisit and actively engage in making sense of, working through, and translating the content of the experience. The process allows for incorporating the emergent lessons into day-to-day lives, moving toward a greater internal and external balance and better relationships with self and others.
Psychedelic Harm Reduction/Safety
Harm reduction sessions assist those considering ketamine/psychedelic experiences. Information regarding potential risks and contraindications are explored as well as gaining more clarity related to motivations and intentions. Discussion surrounding the significance of post-session integration are also explored.
In-field Professional Consultation
Case consultation services with other mental health professionals are offered, as well as clinical supervision for post-graduates working towards professional licensure.
Initial Phone Consultation
Phone consultations are provided to get to know one another, as well as to discuss what has brought you to seek therapy. This is an opportunity to ask questions about the therapy process, address any concerns about treatment, and gauge if it will be a good fit.
Benefits & Eligibility Verification
If you have a form of insurance I am contracted with, I will verify the specifics of your eligibility & benefits for you prior to your first appointment, saving you the trouble of making the call, and to determine your financial responsibility. This verification will provide information such as whether therapy is a covered benefit, deductible amount, co-pays, co-insurance, and session limits.
Psychiatry
I refer clients to psychiatrists for psychiatric evaluation(s) and medication management if it is a collaborative decision made amongst the client and clinician.
